New Trick...its so much fun!

Well, Slawek found Jakub's newest favorite way to drink from a bottle....to have it squirt in his mouth! Not sure how it all started but Jakub was playing with his bottle of full of water while we were eating dinner tonight and to entertain him, Slawek discovered if you squeeze a Dr. Brown's bottle hard enough, the water actually comes spewing out! Jakub loved drinking the water like this so much he wouldn't close his mouth! He loved how the water tickled his tongue. Even when it cam from a few feet away, as Slawek demostrated in the third picture. Thank goodness is was only water in the bottle!

Now...from about 5 feet away(you can't see the water spewing, but it is hitting his tongue and all over his chin)...THE BEST!

Its been awhile

So, its almost been a month since our last blog post! Time flies! Jakub is getting bigger and bigger. He is in 18 month clothes now and hasn't hit 9 months old yet. He is starting to pull himself up on things from a sitting position...anything he can get his hands on. He is such a happy little baby...unless you make him eat food when he doesn't want to! STILL no teeth..we are convinced he is a toothless baby! That doesn't stop him from putting everything in his mouth just to make sure.

Also,l ast week, I (Amy) got Lasik surgery! It is truly incredible to be able to see after wearing glasses or contacts for about 28 years! My vision improves every day as my eyes heal, but after just the first few hours, I was able to see almost 20/20. It is an amazing procedure and I recommend that if you even slightly considering it, I say GO FOR IT! Just make sure you find a reputable doctor that you know people have gone to in the recent past and have been happy with.
