Uncle Jay bathtime...

Jay is visiting this week and had the exciting opportunity to give Jakub a bath! Of course, Jakub loved it...and so did Uncle Jay! We only had to drain the water once due to an impromptu tinkle.....

We just love watching Jakub sleep. He has the greatest sleep positions ever. This is one of his favorites...

I wish I was that relaxed all the time!

This week I had to visit NYC for work and got chance to see Stacy. We just HAD to go for cupcakes...you know, the famous cupcakes from Magnolia bakery. My favorite was the Hummingbird with buttercream frosting. YUM! It was totally worth the blisters I got on my feet from walking so far in the wrong shoes!

Road Trip to Michigan

I had to go back to work 2 weeks ago and was hoping to delay traveling for at least a few weeks, but found out that I had to go to Michigan my second week back. So, to make it a little easier on me so that I didn't have to be away from the little one so soon, my mom offered to drive with Jakub to Michigan. It was a great trip! We stayed in Saline with Baba for two nights and also got to meet a lot of new people...Aunt Ela, Miea, Jenn and lots more! Jakub was a great traveler, just as long as Nana was in the back seat to play.

We have set up Jakub's gym and he loves it. He plays in it so hard that he just crashes after about an hour....I wish I could work out that long!

You can also see that his hair is coming in pretty well up on top...hope he has nice thick hair like mommy and not like daddy! :)

2 month doctor appt

Jakub had his 2 month doctor appointment today...the big one with all the shots! Handled it like a champ...only cried for about a minute. He is growing like a weed...he is 13 lbs. 5 oz and 24 1/4 inches...90th percentile in both. He likes the doctor's office...especially the little paper stuff that they put on the table...he wiggles around on it so makes noise and smiles the whole time. It was so cute! Of course we got to see Grannie Lois again like always! Nana got to come with us for our appointment, too.

4th of July

We are a little late but Jakub had a fun 4th of July! We went to a BBQ at my parents friends, went to the parade and watched the fireworks from afar. Jakub didn't like the firetrucks very much during the parade...they were too loud! Thanks to the loving little kisses from Grannie Lois he made it through. He loved the marching band, though! Here he is all decked out in his patriotic outfit courtesy of Nana...

2 Months Old!

Jakub is 2 months old! We can hardly believe that the time is flown by so fast! He is getting so big too quickly...he has been in 3-6 month clothes for weeks now. We can't get his cute little outfits on fast enough! He is slowly showing his personality and has his own little schedule throughout the day, complete with cranky times, happy times and sleepy times. He is such a little gift, we can't imagine our life without him and never want to go back. We love him more and more everyday....
